Reaching

At River of Life Assembly, our focus is not on what we can get, but on what we can give. We are very aware that none of us deserve what we have been given and that each of us has an opportunity and responsibility to initiate and develop relationships with those in need. That may mean helping someone with a financial need, it may mean working alongside someone that has a task to complete, it may mean praying with someone facing a crisis, or it may mean sharing words of encouragement to someone that is feeling down. The needs are many, and our calling is to REACH out and meet as many of those needs as possible.

Connecting

Even in the largest crowd, many feel completely isolated and lonely. It is our mission to CONNECT individuals with The Word of God, The Spirit of God, and The People of God. None of us were meant to do life alone, and we seek to create opportunities where individuals are able to develop meaningful relationships that are essential to personal growth and fulfillment.

Building

It has been said that God loves us just the way we are but loves us too much to leave us that way. This is so true. Becoming more like Christ is our pursuit. Developing Godly character and attitudes and learning and understanding more about God and His Word is at the center of our mission to BUILD. Spiritual growth and maturity, contrary to popular belief, do not happen by chance. They must be pursued intentionally and consistently.

Sending

Helping individuals discover, develop, and deploy their specific gifts and abilities is at the heart of SENDING- Placing them in those specific areas of their giftedness so they are able to truly experience fulfillment and joy. It is our desire that as a church, we would effectively SEND people into our community, into our state, into our country, and into our world to make an impact for Jesus Christ.
