Senior Pastor: Kevin Anderson
Pastor Kevin Anderson accepted the position of Senior Pastor in July of 2007. Prior to coming to River of Life, he served as Youth Pastor & Associate Pastor at First Assembly of God in Minot, ND for a total of 14 years.
Pastor Kevin graduated from Minot State University with a degree in Elementary Education and was employed by Minot Public Schools as a 6th grade teacher prior to becoming a Youth Pastor. He also attended North Central Bible College in Minneapolis, MN where he received a One Year Bible Certificate. Pastor Kevin and his wife Monica have 3 children- Nicole, Marc, & Kerstyn.
Some other information you may not know about Pastor Kevin... Family Info: I am the youngest of 10 kids- I have 4 sisters and 5 brothers. The names of my brothers and sisters were carefully planned by my parents so every two kids had the same first letter in their name- JoAnn, Judy, Betty, Bert, Les, Lois, Don, Doug, Kent, & Kevin.
Hometown: Crosby, North Dakota (population 1500)- wait a minute, I think that may be the population of the county!
Favorite Food: Steak & Potatoes
Favorite Restaurant: Wendy's
Favorite Movie/TV Show: Miami Vice, The A Team, & "Back to the Future"
What I Love To Do: Juggle sharp knives and white-water raft (not really, but "reading" seemed such a boring thing to list here)
Favorite Scripture: "Even when I am old and gray do not forsake me, Oh God, until I declare Your power to the next generation,You might to all who are to come." (Ps. 71:18)
Student Ministries Pastor: Matthew Aufenkamp
Pastor Matt joined the staff of River of Life Assembly in January of 2010. He graduated from Trinity Bible College in 2009 with a degree in Ministerial Studies. He is originally from Drayton, ND and has 2 brothers, a sister, and a mom and dad. His older brother & sister are both in the ministry his younger brother is planning on attending Bible college.
Pastor Matt's parents have served as Pastors at Fleece Assembly of God for almost 30 years, which gave him a unique perspective on church life.
